KLD series low-voltage power capacitor is innovative cylindrical self-healing explosion-proof capacitor. It adopts environment-friendly insulation gas (N2) to realize higher requirements on safety, environmental-protection, volume miniaturization of capacitor by means of dry-type technology.

Main Applications
- It is used for low-voltage reactive power compensation device to improve power factor and reduce line losses.
- It is used for harmonic filtering device. It can absorb a large amount of harmonic to clean power grid .

Gas-filled capacitor inside is filled with environment-friendly insulation gas nitrogen (N2), whose operation is safe and reliable. - MKP Technology
The inside is divided into three MKP windings. Metal film under high vacuum and cross section coating edge strengthening technology is used to the suppression of high current and guarantee of capacitance stability. - Safety
Capacitor inside is filled with environment-friendly insulation gas, and capacitor has over-voltage separation protection device to ensure explosion-proof performance of capacitor.
Structural Characteristics
- Self-healing Technology
The dielectric has self-healing function: Once voltage breakdown occurs, breakdown point is blown out of breakdown area under the pressure of breakdown points. - Over-voltage Protection
If over-voltage occurs or capacitor life is nearly ended, the increasing "self-healing" damage will lead to increased pressure inside the capacitors. A ‘pressure release structure’ on the cylindrical aluminum can of capacitor is designed to prevent them from sudden rupture. - Discharge Resistor
Capacitor is provided with discharge resistor to ensure the terminal voltage reduces to 50V or below within 50s. - 200,000 Hours of Working Life
Through using special high vacuum technology and long-time process of dry and dehumidification, the capacitor is filled with environment-friendly insulation gas.This complex process ensures excellent capacitance stability and long service life.
